Car Air Conditioning FAQS
Bunbury Automotive are well placed to take care all of your Vehicle Air Conditioner Re-gas, Repairs, Servicing or Inspection needs
An air conditioner system uses refrigerant to extract the excess heat from the air in the vehicle to the exterior, leaving only cooled or 'conditioned' air behind to be recirculated. It is important that the rubber seals are evaluated regularly for any signs of leaks or cracks which could well be allowing a loss of refrigerant.
To perform in top condition the refrigerant in your Car Air Conditioner should ideally be refilled completely within four years of the manufacture date and every two to three years after that.
You should bring your vehicle to a qualified workshop such as Bunbury Automotive (AU06808) on a regular basis to make sure the air conditioning system continues performing efficiently as well as having the mechanics advise you on the condition of the whole vehicle.
Repco Authorised Service mechanics perform a 65 point Vehicle Inspection with every service and are usually able to give you a heads up about any items that may need to be renewed in the near future or those that are already worn beyond repair.
